Abby Ferguson is a Hilo, Hawaii based fine-art photographer. She earned her BA degrees in Photography and Art Education from the University of Kentucky and her MFA in Photography from Kansas State University. Her work spans a variety of subject matters but focuses on highlighting beauty in surprising and unique ways.

Abby’s conceptual work is based on the importance of the mundane and how mental stability can be impacted by memory problems. With a focus on still life, she draws attention to brokenness and the struggle to hold on to even minute memories.

Beyond her photographic practice, Abby enjoys helping others learn the technical and visual skills needed to succeed in photography.
