Wai’ala is an artist, flower farmer, and natural dyer living on an off-grid homestead on the misty slopes of Mauna Loa in Hawai’i. Her work is focused on sustainability and connection to the earth. She is an amazing source of knowledge and inspiration and was generous enough to show me a few different natural dye processes during our session.
